(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - Muslim community leaders who attended a meeting with South Wales Police on Christmas Eve about the counter-terrorism raids that have seen five men from Cardiff detained say they must wait and see whether any charges will be brought.
The men, who were arrested at their homes last Monday, are being held in the West Midlands.
Saleem Kidwai, of the Muslim Council of Wales, said: “The police sought to reassure us, but they were not able to give us any more concrete information. It was something of a PR exercise.
“To be fair, the inquiry is being led from the West Midlands.
“We will have to let due process take its course, and wait and see whether the men are charged or released.”
